Holyn Walsh

Hi! I’m Holyn, and I have been a part of Portrait for four years, and the editor-in-chief for two years. Writing has always been one of my favorite hobbies, but I also enjoy spending time at the pool—whether I’m swimming, lifeguarding, or playing water polo. I accidentally joined Portrait my freshman year thinking it was a drawing class, but I’m so glad I did because we have such a fun and welcoming community. My favorite thing about journalism is giving others a voice through writing.
